The 50 Year Old Shoulder.....

At around out mid 40's we get a change in the collagen fibres of the shoulder. Oestrogen plays it's part in collagen turnover so degeneration happens. By our 50's we get weakness particularly in the structure of the rotator cuff muscles. The two most common problems are:
